We reserve the right to inspect anglers rigs at any time to ensure compliance with the rules as set out below.
1. Unattended rods will not be tolerated - you must be within 15 metres of baited rods at all times.
2. All fish to be treated with respect and returned to the water ASAP. Carp sacks are prohibited, please do not bring sacks to the fishery.
3. Anglers must remain kneeling whilst holding the fish. Absolutely no standing whilst holding a fish.
4. Only running rigs or semi-fixed rigs using a safety clip system or an in-line setup are allowed. Tubing or safe leader to be used above the lead to protect the fish during capture.
5. Only mono, flourocarbon, and coated braid (unstripped) hooklinks are permitted. Uncoated braid is not permitted.
6. Barbless hooks only - maximum hook size 6. Shrink tube or silicon tube must be used over the eye of the hook.
7. 3 rods per angler, minimum 12lb line (0.32mm absolute minimum) - monofil only baited rods, braid permitted marker/spod rods only. No shock leaders on baited rods.
8. All anglers must use the landing nets, unhooking mats, and weigh slings which are provided please leave your own nets, mats and slings at home and save the space in the car for other things !
9. All anglers must be in possession of and use an antiseptic treatment such as Nash medi-carp (available on site). All mats must be wetted prior to placing of fish on them, and fish must be kept wet at all times whilst out of the water.
10. Bait boats are allowed.
11. Only quality fresh/frozen boilies are permitted, shelf-life (preserved) baits are not allowed, if in doubt please ask before you arrive. Freezer facilities are provided. Particle baits are prohibited with the exception of tinned sweetcorn . Nut baits are prohibited.
12. All gates to be kept closed at all times, gates will be locked at night. All rubbish including cigarette ends to be bagged and put in the bins provided.
13. No drunken or rowdy behaviour. Please keep noise to a minimum, buzzers/alarms to kept to a reasonable volume especially at night, remote receivers are preferred.
14. Cars may be driven to swims to drop off and pick up tackle under dry conditions only. All cars to be parked in the designated car parking areas.
Persons in breach of the rules will be asked to leave the fishery, and no refund will be given in this situation. Thank you for your co-operation.
