Les Croix is an English owned and run exclusive carp fishing holiday venue in South West France, with first class
lakeside accommodation and excellent on-site facilities including an optional food package, bait and tackle shop with
tackle and bait boat hire and a fly-drive service option.
Les Croix conforms to all aspects of French Law, with legal night fishing, and no licence is required. The lake, accommodation
and facilities are booked exclusively or the duration of your holiday, no other anglers, so no arguments or conflicts. Our prices
allow for small party bookings, because of the way we run our fishery there are many weeks where there is only one angler
fishing the lake, and long periods when no-one fishes at night, so the fish are not under continual pressure.
Les Croix is situated in the beautiful Charente-Limousine area of South West France where the departments of Charente,
Haute-Vienne and Vienne meet. It is a beautiful and scenic area of rolling countryside, hills, woodland, lakes and rivers, and with this and the fact
that the Charente is officially the second sunniest Region of France after the Mediterranean Coast, it is a very desirable location.
This venue is one of a very few carp lakes in France managed by a qualified fisheries professional with many years of fisheries
management experience working within the fisheries department of the N.R.A. and Environment Agency in the UK. The venue is correctly stocked and managed,
so you will be fishing more than just another French Carp Lake. Our carp are exceptional fish and have been hand picked from
an area of France renowned for the stunning appearance and strength of the carp.
In 2009 new 30's featured in catches, we expect many more in 2010, and our biggest fish are now 50lbs+
